California State Assembly
In March of 2013, I received a certificate of recognition from Nathan Fletcher, who was serving as a California State Assemblyman for San Diego at the time and now serves as a San Diego County Supervisor. I had been invited to attend a fundraiser dinner hosted by Chelsea’s Light Foundation—an organization created in memory of Chelsea King, who was tragically abducted and murdered by a repeat sex offender, John Albert Gardner.
Around that time, I had recently launched a youth-led initiative called Kool Climate Kids. Our very first electronic recycling event served as a fundraiser for Chelsea’s Light Foundation, organized at the request of Nathan Fletcher to support their mission of advocacy and change.

Kool Climate Kids Award
I was at an event with the San Diego chamber of commerce. The gentleman is, county supervisor Ron Roberts helping me to present this award to home depot on behalf of their support of green. The block Kool Climate Kids.

This was a letter that a kid locked up in a Arizona detention center sent me when he got ahold of an article that black entertainment network magazine did on me regarding the green economy.

This is me accepting the proclamation that mayor Todd Gloria formally stated the initiative of San Diego recycling day, he signed into proclamation November 13.
